The Secret and The Law of Attraction

Learning from the past

We are always living in the past. Our decisions are influenced by our memories, our paradigms are built over years of experiences, thought after thought, with all the worries, wishes, joyful moments our brains store like diligent librarians in the archive of our lives. When we set goals or we want to manifest something we are often misguided by all these negative memories. A traumatic experience can hinder our decision – making process, it can create evil sand castles we believe mighty obstacles and we never make any progress towards our objectives. We must clean the unpleasant experiences from our psyche if we want to free our inner power.

At this regard we have at our disposal different tools that have been created for the specific purpose. The question is: How can we learn from the past if we have to erase its negative influence?

The term erase reminds brain washing techniques widely used in spy – fiction stories and it does not look appropriate. A word that instead sounds more suitable to our practice is release. Lets release memories from our brains. Evoke them to a very external layer and assess them alongside with the feelings involved. More we resist a negative event, more its connection in the brain will be strong and more it will harmfully influence our present and future behaviours.

If we will be daring enough to bring the memory with the associated emotion to the surface of our conscious mind, we will be able to change the connection our nervous system has with it, we will sponsor its acceptance and remove all the poison which lies within it.

Besides, in the act of releasing we can also usefully analyse the event. We certainly agree that it’s something we attracted with our thoughts and consequently we can learn from it what was not working in our minds. What was our dominant thinking pattern in that period? What were our goals or wishes and why they did not manifest?

There is a lot to learn from the past. What is important is not to rebound our emotions with the negative feelings associated with the memory we want to release.

We must act as scholars of our minds, observe, study, analyse and finally, release.

We will become attracting magnets, free of any self doubt or limiting belief, free to unleash our infinite power.
