Compassion.
This is another virtue to be elected in the enlightening process of a human being. Compassion is love, when we fall in unconditioned love with the whole universe. Compassion is the consciousness of distress with a burning desire to alleviate it, to help, to care of people and other creatures of this world.
I talked about forgiveness, but compassion is even conceived at an higher level, is a proactive task that makes us to lend a hand toward who suffers, is that inner deep feeling of love we experience when we help someone in difficulty.
Compassion is an asset of gods. How can we make it ours? How can we vibrate at the frequency of pure love?
Never judge
Never judge people. Whatever a person can behave, her acts derive from a desperate need to communicate. If a person is in spiritual pain her actions are led by negative emotions. Send your love and try to help. Don’t ask anything back.
Never discriminate
Don’t find yourself involved in those shaming games about religion, race, regionalism, nationalism, where hate tries to make love surrender. This is an important moment for our planet, there is too much hate, too much distinctions. We must let the shiny light of God triumph through our actions, our conduct is decisive. Do not underestimate your power.
Don’t be greedy
Share. Share everything you can with your fellow beings, you will have tenfold back what you give. Live a good life, according to your wishes, but be generous. If you can manifest the best in your life, other people might not, they need to be supported and advised.
Think like an immortal
Don’t make things too much important. Live life and enjoy it at its fullest, but don’t be conditioned by time. Your soul is immortal, think you are here just for an incredible small period, and that your existence is not by chance. Take responsibility for those who will come after you, give your contribution for a better world. Plan a thousand years ahead.
Always think about the lovely human being you are. Value yourself at its best, you are precious, unique.
Make everybody to appreciate the joy of life, be compassionate.

Good Afternoon,
I think compassion, at its best, points to a more mature state of awareness.
It has an element of deeper wisdom in it. The humane quality of understanding the suffering of others and wanting to do something about it, is one definition of compassion.
So, I believe that our own deep awareness and love enables us to learn not to judge, discriminate, etc. Seeing into and experiencing true compassion is, I think, a necessary prerequisite for us to evolve socially.
God Bless,
Viviana, thank you for your comment. You chose the best words ever to define compassion.
Love,
Elio
I think all people have a need for compassion, and its seen different in different people. what a great article. But yet some have a not so good way to present it.
Hi Elio,
“Think like an immortal” I really love that. So much time
(if there is such a thing) is wasted on trying to “get this”
or “do that” and the present, the here and now is missed in
persuit of something better.
Wonderful words of wisdom Elio, as always.
thanks for the pick me up!
@ Tammy
Yes, everyone is different, but special and part of the same thing.Thank you for the comment.
@ Carol
Thank you for reading Carol, the problem is that a very few people know how to live in the “now”, forgetting why they are here for…
@ Threio
Thanks for stoppping by
Elio what an insightful post. You know I struggled with this very word last month. And it is good to see you so brilliantly articulate it’s meaning.
Compassion! If more of us practiced it, think how much better this world would.
I also like the imagery of thinking of yourself as immortal and making plans for a thousand years. If we thought our physical form was going to be here for a thousand years, I believe humans would make wiser decisions.
@ McKay
I appreciate your visits as usual
“If we thought our physical form was going to be here for a thousand years, I believe humans would make wiser decisions.”
Yes. This is the main meaning of the post. We are like predators always searching to satisfy our ravings…
Ah compassion, the one most valuable “asset” a person could possess. If there was just a way to convince all who strive for tangible possessions, that striving for compassion would provide a far bigger pay out, we could solve the worlds problems.
Your right many do not take the opportunity to do something compassionate for fear of injury or loss.
Great post.
Beautiful comment, Eric. Thank you.
