The Secret and The Law of Attraction

Cosmic Ordering

Cosmic Ordering can be described as a variation of The Law of Attraction.

It was brought to the wide public by Barbel Mohr with the book “The Cosmic Ordering Service”. I did not read the book but some research brought contrasting opinions on different aspects of the practice. Basically is all based in making an order to the cosmos –or universe following almost the very same steps recorded in the material on the Law of Attraction.

“Making an order” and having faith are the most important points, and there is not really distinction between the two methods, apart from the fact that Cosmic Ordering puts less or not emphasis at all on taking action, in fact the Cosmos will deliver your wishes in the same way a parcel service will bring goods to your doorstep. This is object of some controversy, as inspired action is widely acknowledged as the main mean of manifestation.

An English writer, Stephen Richards, wrote a couple of books on the argument, too. This time I had the pleasure to study two of them, and I admit are well written and present an interesting perspective alongside some biographical facts on the author which make the reading quite involving.

Talking about Cosmic Ordering or about The Secret and The Law of Attraction is not going to make a huge difference in reality changing practices. One is just newer and perhaps more fresh to marketing targets. I realise that there is more buzz in the UK then in the rest of the world on Cosmic Ordering, maybe because of the notoriety of the writer and some celebrity supporters.

Rising internal vibrations is the main focus of both methods, one is more oriented toward visualizing, whilst the second and more recent takes into account written orders to be read out with faith and positive intent.

After all, everything is entangled…..
