self improvement

SatNav for your soul

If you ever attended a seminar related to self improvement matters, you realized that in many occasions the speaker will suddenly draw a point on a board. It is a moment of suspense because you don’t have idea what and why that tiny point has been carefully prepared to appear like magic in front of hundred people.

Eventually a second dot, more elevated than the first one will be impressed by the marker, and some light starts to emerge from the darkness. –You are here, the expert says, staring at the first dot, -and you want to go here, he points out with calmness and confidence. That’s true, you are always at some point in your life, your path is always evolving, whatever it is, and you must go ahead, somewhere, to some point into the future. Between the two points emerges a path, a line, and this represents that part of your life, time, efforts you have to make to reach the upper point. If you know that you have a point to reach, this is a good sign, many people are like leaves, drifting here and there all their lives without a precise direction, constantly blown by random winds. You are not, you know that there is something you have to accomplish, something you decided to do, led by inspiration and by a constant analysis of what you do really want. You know also that there are infinite lines passing through two points in space. It means that you have infinite possible paths to follow to reach your goals, but the question is how to follow the shorter line, the best solution, in less time and with the best result and experiences along the way. Something I particularly like is what is said about life goals, Is not the goal itself which is really important, but the experience you collect on your way to it. You must follow the best track, because you must experience what is best for you.

SatNav for your soul means that like a real journey, you must insert the coordinates of your actual position into your gadget and let it guide you to your prefixed destination, where you can chose to avoid trafficked motorways, visit intermediate places, set the shortest or the fastest route. You can get a sign from your soul, something that will make you create that burning desire towards your happiness. You need then a map, a system that will guide you with precision and absolute faith. Where is that special satellite system that will direct your soul through life?

1.Follow your heart

Follow your heart, make every choice with love. Love never fails. The path you will follow will never hurt anybody and will make you to give and receive love in exchange.

2.Use your brain as your best tool

You do not have to be the slave of your brain, of its reckless mantras, instead learn how to direct your thoughts with the power of focus. Your conscious mind can calculate the best and more reasonable possibilities for you, being the wonderful object it is. Focus on your goals without worries, like a laser beam through space. Concentrate on your objectives and be persistent. If you fail, be grateful, you can elaborate a better plan.

3.Trust your values

Values are beliefs at a deeper, more enrooted level. They are what really matter in your life, if you feel at any point of your journey that you are not following your values, you must revise your route, something is wrong.

4.Create joy for yourself and the others

Imagine you are in a journey following a route you don’t know, you will start to have worries, doubts. You will be concerned whether you will ever reach your destination or not, and these feeling will affect everybody around you. When you are consciously creating your reality, when you know exactly where and when the next turn will be, you feel in control and sure to reach your destination, irradiating joy and happiness to those closest to you.

5.Take care of your body

Improve your health, always. Do the best you can to maintain your body healthy, imagine a navigational tool with discharged batteries. If you realize that your batteries are not charged, spend some time to heal and regenerate, do not rush, start only when you feel ready to continue your path. It must be enjoyable, without any stress or pain. When these forced stops happen, it can be a good time to control you inner map and to check your tools for when you are ready.

6.Celebrate every little step

Every step you complete, whatever small it can be, celebrate, congratulate with yourself. It is like when you reach a service station, where you can stop, refuel and enjoy a cup of coffee. Think that you made it, what you achieved with effort is now your forever, fifty miles less to go!

Try to analyse past events with these insights, did you chose the right path? Was it a straight one? What were your feelings on your way to your goals, did something contrast with your values?

When you know where to go in life, always think about the infinite routes at your disposal, be aware of your choices, you are a powerful creator.
