The Secret and The Law of Attraction

The story of a cat and Mr. Schrödinger

Quantum physics and manifesting reality

I am not going to argue that everyone knows what a cat is. Perhaps many of you may not know, or have forgotten, who Mr.Schrödinger was, so I am going to refresh your memory.

Erwin Schrödinger was an Austrian physicist, one of the most prominent scientists of the 20th century. His studies on quantum mechanics are of fundamental importance to theoretical physics and to the quest for discovering what underlies before this strange but utterly real quantum world.

Schrödinger created in 1935 a famous paradox to bring to light in the macroscopic life a very difficult –until now concept: the measurement of a quantum system. I am not going into details, let’s go to the story straight away.

The experiment

1.Put the cat in a box to be sealed from any external interference;

2.Put in the box, with the cat, a very small amount of radioactive substance;

3.Find some room also for a Geiger counter (those rattling things that measure radioactivity);

4.Put some poison in the box, so that if the Geiger counter will detect a decayed atom (from the radioactive substance), it will trigger a mechanism that will kill the cat;

5.Seal the box, and wait for an hour;

This is a thought experiment, there is no need to call the animal’s protection, don’t worry.

Why we have to wait for an hour? An hour is just an acceptable amount of time to make this experiment feasible. After an hour we will open the box and check if the cat is still alive, or dead from the poison triggered by the radioactive substance.

What’s going to happen?

What do you think will happen? Well you don’t really need to try the experiment yourself or to wait here for an hour. I am going to tell you now.

Inside the box, the cat can be dead AND alive. YES.

Now I have to explain how this works, without to bore the audience with psi – functions and eigenvalues.

Let’s make it simple

All right. Basically, during that hour, in the box coexist two different universes, one with the dead cat, the other one with the cat well alive and scratching the box for freedom. When you open the box, I mean, when basically you measure the quantum state inside the box, one of the two possible worlds will manifest. You are somewhat entangled with the dead or alive cat, just one possibility.

This experiment started a very deep academic debate, this is the Copenhagen interpretation, based on why and how just one quantum state will be measured over two or a million or infinite possible configurations. I want to go a bit further now. When you look in the box you can just grasp one aspect of reality (I hope the poor cat is alive). This means that you influence in some way the output of the experiment. How? There is only a logic explanation to this: with your thoughts. Your expectations will make one of the possible realities alive and physical.

What you wish is already there for you

Is this a possible explanations about thoughts and manifesting? Deeply inside I think yes. We can really change our life if we want, if we expect this to happen. There are many unsolved questions and unknowns, it will take time to discover, but we can already put it into practice improving our thinking, having faith in ourselves and being persistent. We are certain that everything can change, and it will change. It depends only of us and our motivation.

Yes, You can create your life.
